No one remembers.. or even knows when Callisto was born, Some say she was there when the deities were formed.. but what actually happened..? When the Arcanist ruined the pillar due to curiosity, some dragons started to come into the world, some had to fight members of the beastclans to get to resign in their clans, and very few dragons survived. Their corpses lied limp for many days, but then when the Arcanist had knocked over the pillar, those bodies became infected with the Shade. Dragons' eyes turned white, and they became immortal. Shade gave them a twisted mind, though some were resistant to the effect, but they still looked like terrifying creatures, Never to be normal again. Most dragons still resigned to their properties and still obeyed their deities, and still have the normal traits. When Callisto was a young snapper, she saw the pillar and always wanted to study it. She pondered, years over years, what those symbols meant. She had been created when the Arcanist was created, and worshiped the Arcanist as a god. She always loved books, and over the years was tossed from clan to clan, finding no one to love her, as people thought she was a terrifying creature. When Callisto was young, she had wandered far and wide, looking for new clans, she had just been born, looking for someone who would enjoy her lovely, pastel colors. She had ran into a clan of centaurs, and had been killed. This young hatchling was only a day old when this had happened. When the Arcanist had knocked over the pillar, the barrier had been broken, and the Shade had covered the land. She had been infected, her skin cracked and shade seeped through, oozing from her skin. It was painful, but she had become immortal, and her eyes pale as snow. When she was resurrected from the dead, she had brought back her love for books, and she remembered everything, even the pain from her death. She started looking for a clan, she was rejected over... and over.. and over again, starting to lose hope, when a Fae found her, losing hope, as she told her story. She was ready to go to the Arcanist when the young Fae offered for her to join her growing clan. She is still in this clan, with a loving family, where they don't treat her unfairly because she was infected by the shade. She still shares her love of books and still loves the Arcanist.
