Unlike his counterparts, who have learned to uncover secrets with their eyes and ears, Rabe has a sense for information. He can taste it in the air and feel it in the earth, like a current underwater or the blood in an artery. He especially has a tendency to sense danger or ill will toward his clanmates, and when he sidles up next to Athakyr to give his reports, he often will have no solid basis for his information other than he ‘feels’ it. It has taken a few tragic accidents, unfortunately, for his clanmates to heed his warnings. Now that they listen, though, Rabe has been put to good use, sniffing out doom like a wolf.
