Biography
Morrigan
"You disgusting rat. Begone! Stay, and you'll be slain!" the Arcanists' guards screeched. Morrigan crouched in fear, her shroud caught under her foot, in front of their threatening, pink Imperial eyes. The larger guard grabbed her by the neck and threw her out of the Observatory's doors.
She breathed. "Go!" the guard yelled. The doors were slammed shut as Morrigan's wings spread and half-heartedly flapped to lift herself off the ground. Her wings shimmered in the moonlight and the glow of the Crystalspines as she soared up into the sky, tears streaming from her eyes but her face otherwise stoic.
The Arcanist has been ever so quiet lately, and the guards have taken over as leaders. They are cruel and they think they can speak for the Arcanist. Morrigan simply expressed her dissatisfaction for both the Arcanist's and guards' behavior; the Arcanist's neglect and the guards usurp. The frantic citizens of the Starwood immediately reported her to the highest level guards because of her "blasphemy." Immediately she was banned from the Isles and it all made no sense to her. It was just her speaking and nothing more.
The magic-lit ocean was now under her glimmering belly as she aimlessly flew. The farther the safer she was from the Isles, but the farther the harder it is to get there.
Mere hours later, bluish ice coated the ground underneath her. The Icefield already. She new it was too close to the Isles, so she flew on, tears dried and only defeat in her heart. Surprisingly, laughter spilled out of her lips, but her chest tightened. It was all over. She'd be laid to rest in the dark ocean when she finally fell down.
The moon was so high now. Even her vipera skin sparkled now. Her wings felt as fragile as glass, too much banging causes so many cracks that they'll eventually shatter. She needed to rest.
After she found the Icefield under her she turned east. She already saw the tall bamboo of the Windswept Plateau. She lifted her shroud's hood over her head and flew as fast as she could into the Reedcleft Ascent. Relatively safe land greeted her claws as her wings finally rested on the grass. A quick wind shifted her cloak and calmed her spirits.
She wandered around the pillars, using all of her strength to jump up to the next one. At this point she'd settle for the tiniest of dens. But no cave was seen.
"Are you okay..?"
Morrigan gasped and turned to see a shining Skydancer looking worriedly into her eyes.
