She claims that it also makes a great light for reading and she loves to read fantasy novels and fan fiction written about the Plague flight, arguing that grounding comes in many forms

Lapis is known to provide protection against spiritual forces and energy, and Light takes full advantage of this with her charmed amulet of Lapis Lazuli that Truth and Whisper gave to her to protect her from the unseen forces that plagued her everyday life and kept her from living

Like with others in the Clan of Wynter, when Light is not off helping and watching over Pynk, she is tending to the beehives outside the lair

Light was bred during the BrightShine Jubilee 2015.

As such, she possesses an undeniably kind personality. Those in the rest of the clan describe her as quiet but brilliant, gentle and soft. She is a precious dragon, one that possesses a strong sense of empathy, that at some points cause her to retreat into her den for hours at a time due to intensity of feeling. After reconciling her gift with the Clan's Prophet, Truth, Light made the decision to give balance to her life. If others could not hide their feelings form her, then she should not hide from them. She kept little from people, though many nights she spent in Truth and Whisper's den, speaking to them about the feelings she was catching off the other dragons. Truth and Whisper were, after all, the only ones equipped to handle this information, and they used it well. She remained in the shadows, to this day still does somewhat, and keeps to herself. Truth and Whisper care for her and know how to handle her when her gift gets too strong, When she first came to them in a panic, Truth and Whisper charged a lapis amulet, and gave it to Light as a gift. They charged the amulet with the intent of anchoring a shield that Light could put up to protect her from feeling all the feelings around her. It protected her most days, but not all.

She was still thankful, and determined to use Stormcaller's Gift to her as a good thing for the clan.

And so she did.

Through her gift, Light was able to be a beacon in the darkness for her friend, Pynk. After his mentor, Orion, left to help other clans train their warriors, Pynk felt empty inside. Barren. Sad. He wandered, walked, flew, ran, and even tried swimming to get his mind off things. Light caught up to him one day, going off a hunch that Truth had alerted her to, and found him at the edge of a cliff, staring down at the crashing waves below.

"Pynk?" Light had asked, carefully fluttering up to the large dragon. "It's me, Light." Her voice had been quiet, tentative, as to not make the other dragon nervous. After all, Pynk hadn't known he was being followed.

"I know it's you." Pink had acknowledged, not turning to look at the dragon that was currently adjusting its wings to avoid showing her nervousness too much. "How long have you been following me?"

"Actually, I hadn't followed you at all per se." Light had told him. "Truth told me to find you, and she said I would find you here. So here I am."

Pynk had sighed then, and took several steps back from the cliffs. Light took to the skies, just a little, enough that the older dragon would be at eye level with the Fae. "I take it you've caught onto my..." Pink had been unable to finish his sentence, but Light took the initiative to perch, carefully, on Pynk's shoulder. It was the best form of a hug the tiny dragon could muster. Pynk would have normally been wary of a dragon he didn't know terribly well coming to perch on his shoulder, but... if Truth was right, Light had a gift, and Pynk trusted Truth with every scale on his body.

As such, he trusted Light to understand what he was feeling, so that it was okay he didn't finish his sentence.

The two dragons had started walking then, back towards the main camp, and the didn't speak. Light started off standing, but soon sat down. When Pynk took flight to speed their return, he didn't mind when Light fell asleep so innocently on his shoulder. He had just looked down at the dragon, noticed she had carefully secured her claws in his armor, and let her rest.

It wasn't until he got back to the main camp that he realized that Light was his distraction, and making sure the little dragon was kept safe, gave him something to do, something to focus on.

Light was taken under Pynk's wing as not a consort, but as a friend and consultant.

From then on, Light swore her life's dedication to serving the Clan's Vanguard, for leaders always need someone to ground them, to give them something to hold onto when all feels lost.

Light is often seen around the camps perched quietly on Pynk's shoulder, and if one looks close enough, they can see that she whispers to him when things get too intense in the coliseum, or when the frustrations of Clan life get to be too much. She calms him down, gives him peace, and grounds him.

"You really are my Light in the midst of all the darkness and pain and struggle I see." Pynk had told her one day. "Thank you for that."

"Always" Light had said, spreading her wings to hug the larger dragon's neck, and Pynk had accepted the gesture gratefully.

After all, Pynk would be nothing without her, and who knows what would have happened if Truth hadn't sent Light after him that one day so long ago.
