There were roses, and there was blood. A warrior whose back was on the ground and pinned down by the very sword he carried. He fought for his empire and his empire turned its back on him, allowing him to suffer and wilt away. He remembers gentle hands caressing his face, and a sweet whisper promising him a second life. One where he could not fall, one where he could be unstoppable. Tears stung his eyes, and a smile appeared, his teeth stained with blood. So, a deal with the devil was made and Claec would rise once more to wreak havoc upon Sorneith in the name of The Shade. His skin became darker and his eyes began to glow the longer he went on, never aging and only growing in power. Often times you can hear deep murmurs from his lips as he converses with her - the one who brought him back from the brink of death.

Let me just say, Calec has wonderfully written, vivid lore. Right here if anyone wants to read it. With it, his appearance is haunting, the vestiges of his warrior self, the sword and armor, the bandages, and how fierce they make his dragon form. Nicely put together indeed.
