Inigo was born to a monastery sheltered deep within the Clouscrape Crags by the monks of the Southern Star, a religious group who worshiped a divine prophet. As a child, he was taught to live and abide by the rules of the church, consequently giving him the innately rebellious personality he has now. He was born by two dragons that worked and worshiped there, and his mother and father loved him and cared for him as he grew up. He was a problem child, but not in the way that he made ruckus; he flirted and avoided responsibility, strutting around the halls like he owned the place. He'd occasionally be found wandering about the temple, singing to himself quietly or playing his harp as if he had something on his mind---and that he did. Despite his loving home and, albeit wavering, religious affiliation, he always felt as if his life was missing something important, and when alone he'd be quite downcast. When he came of age, the church had him pick his way of life in the temple, as all children came to do; become a follower of the book, or a defender. Now Inigo had never won a fair fight in his life, he was more of a cheat when it came to battling. So he begrudgingly became a preacher of the Southern Star. The monks and his parents were more than pleased by this decision (even though they had always had their doubts in the past), as they had already known which path the musical wildclaw was predestined to take. The boy was a lover, not a fighter, and made all of the orphaned children happy with his jovial songs and personality. He, already growing weary of the temple life, followed the warriors around constantly. He joked and sang and tried to lighten somber faces. He flirted with the women and bothered most of the males, including Gabriel who in their teens (more than once) threatened to dump him off the edge of the Crag. Time went on after Gale suddenly disappeared, rumors spreading around the temple like wildfire. Some murmured that he had abandoned his post to fight with the Exalted. Others claimed he died after falling deep into the snow while chasing after bandits. But one rumor, hushed by the echoes of footsteps, spoke of him falling to his knees before the Divine Prophet, and following him into the darkness of the night. Inigo didn't know what to assume, for he never really knew the dragon all that well, but come adulthood he decided to pack up and disappear as well. He went on a long journey; through clans and cities, working jobs at bars and boats and clubs and couriers. With his (unused) but expansive book-smarts, he seemed to be able to land jobs wherever he went. It was only until he met up with some representatives from the Clan of the End that he reunited with Gale--and he too fell to his knees at the sight of the Southern Star. Shellshocked at the fact that Gale and the coatl had been living together for years, had made a life together, and even adopted a child, Inigo didn't know what to do. He was consumed by jealousy, and tried his hardest to become a good guard like Gale had been. They fought over Vetur's attention; his approval. It was only until Inigo was thrust into battle that the coatl confronted him about his irresponsible, reckless behavior. It woke something in him, something that told him he needed to follow his own path. Not long after that Inigo settled into his own home, got a job in Sova's club, and began working on his music. He wrote ballads of the Southern Star and his Follower, flirted with every dragon in the clan, and even found himself a mate in the end (who he still doesn't like to call his "mate" more like a long term girlfriend maybe? He's still kind of afraid of the "L" word and Angelique will kill him if he does anything too out of line. He still flirts with everyone though.)
