Selkie was one of the Donnern Division's founding dragons, having traveled often to finally settle down with a young couple and their budding clan. She was quick to become a mother like figure to all who came to see her for care; after all she had the most knowledge of medical science and the best bedside manner of any dragon since her arrival.

While she is an older dragoness, Selkie is sill quite youthful in spirit often encouraging younger dragons to go out and explore while they can, and to experience all that life has to offer them. She of course then explains that should anything happen to them, that she would be more than happy to help pick them up and help put them together again.

She does have a bit of a stubborn streak, and will not tolerate misuse of the clinic's facilities. She is known to have mentioned to Striah several times the dangers of overworking staff to the point of exhaustion, and has been especially firm in her opinions on what the working hours should be. Thankfully Striah and Mechlem seem to agree after their years of discussion and after implementing the older dragoness' suggestions realize that their workforce is not only healthier, but happier as well, making them that much more productive.

Selkie is truly one of a kind, having a gentle voice, and a calming presence to any and all who come to visit her or any of her physicians in the clinic; and she takes extra care for any dragon who seems to be having a bad day.
