Xilonen

Xilonen often leaves the first impression that she's mysterious and sly with many secrets to hide. When you first meet her, she talks in a low voice, only peeking out from the brim of her hat. One would think to see her around a cauldron, brewing up vile potions.
But really, once you get to know her, Xilonen is quite the loud and funny dragon. She will never fail to entertain someone. She sometimes overuses jokes, but all the dragons in the clan can do is groan good-heartedly when she says it again. Xilonen does, in fact, enjoy brewing things. It's her hobby. Her brewings often come out quite odd and utterly unusable, but she's happy with them that way. The weirder it is, the better Xilonen views it.
Sometimes Xilonen's humor can be seen as outlandish to more refined dragons, as she makes it look like she's standing on her tail, opens her eyes real wide, and sticks her tongue out. She sometimes makes fart noises while doing this. The hatchlings love this and she is quite popular among the very curious and brave ones who got to know her. In fact, she is now proud to be an older sister. (She is a younger sister as well.)
Most dragons in the clan know Xilonen's true self, and love her for it. Some are puzzled when she goes back to her reclusive, mystery self around others, but none hate on her for it. They often just smile and shake their head because she's so obviously a typical Shadow dragon. Well, almost. But in all seriousness, Xilonen is a quirky yet jovial girl who's always up for a good joke.

Xilonen and Erlen usually bred together for the breeding projects but weren't mates. Then they bred with other dragons: Xilonen with Caderyn and and Erlen with Lena. Luckily, Xilonen only had one child in her brood, because Xilonen and Erlen realized how much they loved each other after being apart and raising their other children for so long. They decided to become mates, having one last brood to consummate it. They hoped that at least one dragon in their final brood yet first brood as mates would be bought and kept in a clan and cared for, but alas, they were all exalted, and two of them were cruelly given the same name. Nonetheless, the two grieved and hope the best for all their exalted and starving children. They now just live together happily as mates.

The Breeding Project
Xilonen was the first dragon in the clan who was part of the Breeding Project. The Breeding Project was something started by the clan to earn one million treasure and earn enough to expand the lair. Dragons who were part of the breeding project were unfortunately not viewed as a legitimate part of the clan, but rather as just an extra extension of it. The existing clan members tried to amass dragons of different colors and rarer, more valuable genes and breeds, therefore all Wildclaws and Coatls. The dragons of the Breeding Project were to never really have one set mate, and breed with whichever dragons they had to in order to make the prettiest, best-selling, most expensive children. And they never wore apparel, except maybe if it was elemental during their Elemental Holiday. Many could say that this is a dragon's value of genes and looking like family members taken to the extreme. The dragons in the Breeding Project were a bit bothered by how the rest of the clan viewed them, but valued having children, as any other dragon would, so they complied. Eventually the goal neared and as time went on Breeding Project dragons became more and more like members of the clan. The Breeding Project ended, and Breeding Project dragons were now considered normal members of what was now a huge clan. The exile and isolation from the rest of the clan was over, and all the overbred dragons could rest and enjoy regular clan life.
