Keanu

Keanu is perhaps the most special dragon in the Bobcat Clan. She was found about a month after the clan moved to the Plague territory. The large group of dragons had been having a difficult time in their new home. Half of the clan enjoyed the move while the other half resented it and wanted to return to the Windsinger's domain. They were on the verge of splitting, Menace leading one side and Fruu the other, when in tottered the gorgeous little dragon- a type none of them had ever seen before except for Trenos. Trenos, a spiral who spent more time traveling than at camp, had seen skydancers on his trips. He explained to the clan that the hatchling was a relatively uncommon breed, but even with that understanding there was something strange about her. Instantly the dragons calmed their fighting and settled to a more calm state. A few days passed and the mood smoothed out even further. It didn't take long for everyone to be on good terms again. Soon, the clan was as it had been before the move- united and happy. Everyone gave credit to the young Keanu, who had been accepted into the clan.
As the clan became used to Keanu's commanding gaze and her quiet tongue, they became aware of another thing- the skydancer was not aging. She seemed to be stuck as a hatchling, forever small and adorable. No one- not even Trenos or the elders- could offer any explanation as to why the new dragon was not growing into an adult. Like everything else about the newcomer, the clan accepted Keanu's forever-youth. The entire group of dragons sort-of began to revolve around Keanu. She was a constant playmate for the hatchlings and, despite her silence, seemingly wise beyond her apparent age. Dragons enjoyed spending time near the skydancer as she tended to have a calming and joyful effect.
Like dragons, Keanu also has an influence over other creatures. That is how she made friends with the vicious poisonous toridae. The hatchling loves water and one day she was playing in a pool of it when the monster approached, startling the adults half to death. Before they could remove Keanu from the water she was patting the toridae's nose and giggling. Since then it has followed her dutifully when she is near the pool.
