  • They fight using only their necks (giraffe style!) the spines are purely only deffensive.
  • Lightning: Dragons that have a lightning parent are often very fun, prankstery dragons. They generate small amounts of static electricity they use to give a small zap to other dragons without the threat of completely frying them with electricity, and can also use their parent’s heritage to make themselves seem more imposing by creating small arcs of electricity between their horns.
  • No one knows what Ridgebacks do (when they are sick): the last dragon to check on a Ridgeback with a cold was never seen again
  • lightning dragons emit sparks, without question. when agitated, some dragons with horns or spines that match up side by side create a jacob’s ladder effect. they speak coarse and rough, and are often loud
  • Their teeth retreat some when their mouths are closed (you can still see the tops of them giving the impression that they have smaller teeth) but when their jaw is fully extended they drop down
  • They can sort of unhinge their jaws causing their teeth to expand further but it usually snaps back in place rather quickly so its used to add more force to a bite (think snapping a rubberand)
  • Ridgebacks are under the impression that they are the most beautiful of all dragons so its very rare for another ridgeback to show interest in another species because they arnt good looking to them lmao
  • Males are lazy nerds who are still mean mothertruckers but like… only when they feel like it.
  • If you manage to draw blood on a ridgebacks face there is a 1000% they are gonna flip out (HOW DARE YOU MAR MY PERFECT FACE YOU HEATHEN) Scars and scratches anywhere else tho are usualy shown off
