Ish'taka​ ​followed​ ​the​ ​path​ ​of​ ​the​ ​mystic​ ​from​ ​a​ ​very​ ​early​ ​age.​ ​Learning​ ​traditions​ ​from​ ​Malis,​ ​the High​ ​Shaman​ ​and​ ​leader​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Vitterfolk,​ ​Ishtaka​ ​decided​ ​to​ ​leave​ ​the​ ​clan​ ​territories​ ​to​ ​explore the​ ​surrounding​ ​lands​ ​of​ ​Sornieth.​ ​Where​ ​she​ ​goes​ ​she​ ​learns​ ​about​ ​the​ ​other​ ​cultures​ ​and shares​ ​her​ ​own​ ​in​ ​return.​ ​One​ ​day​ ​she​ ​plans​ ​on​ ​coming​ ​back​ ​to​ ​the​ ​Vitterfolk​ ​tribe​ ​to​ ​teach​ ​the others​ ​about​ ​what​ ​she​ ​discovered​ ​but​ ​for​ ​now​ ​she​ ​is​ ​content​ ​to​ ​be​ ​discovering​ ​new​ ​locals​ ​and meeting​ ​new​ ​people.
