B I O G R A P H Y

______ Rustymight is a strong and ambitious dragon, always doing his best to help the clan and anyone who needs help. Although not born and raised as part of Earth Flight, he is a whole-heartedly dedicated member of the clan, as it is where his charge, Rasmus, loves to be.

______ Rustymight has a rather questionable history prior to living in Cairnstone Rest. Ciera's clan is no stranger to Klaeod the Crimson or the members he houses, for they have had a number of dragons travel to and fro over time, but his traditions are another story. In fact, Rustymight's favorite pastime is to recount his numerous adventures to his clanmates, many including odd mishaps while apparently manning a massive cannon that hurtled dragons to Tempest Spiral. His kind and funny personality dubbed him an instant hit amongst the clan.

______ The story behind his journey to Ciera is another tale entirely. Before, Rustymight had always thought his 'charge' was Klaeod's whole clan. He would follow his old leader around despite constant snapping from the mirror and simply adored Shonaox, a guardian whose life has been dedicated to protecting Tamanous, Rasmus' gooey father. Rustymight was happy while launching interns to Stormcatcher and being the easygoing dragon he is. This, however, changed upon the departure of Tamanous' offspring.

______ Without them around, Rustymight became increasingly lethargic, the joyful atmosphere that seemed to hang around him dissipating as time went on. He didn't know what was wrong, nor did he know what to do about it. Anxious thoughts clouded his mind- the guardian had never felt like this before. The foreign feeling of bugs crawling beneath his scales, his fins stiff and a sinking in his chest. In an act of resiliant determination, Rustymight pretended nothing had changed and continued with his normal duties.

______ He utterly failed. He may have been as generous as always, but it didn't take long before the clan knew something was up. One day, while moping about near the cannon, Klaeod plucked him to the side and sent him to Shonaox. Upon seeing her, sitting beside Tamanous as she usually was, he knew he'd never forget the words she spoke.

______ Find him. Go to your charge.

______ It clicked. Finally, he knew what had gone wrong. Rustymight had simply watched as his charge waltzed out of his life to live with another. Unbeknownst to him, he had been living without even the slightest inkling that Klaeod's clan wasn't what he was destined to guard. Shonaox understood this. She knew what it was like to live without a charge, mourning something she thought she'd never have. Yet there she was, sitting beside her tarry charge who'd undoubtedly sired his own. Rasmus.

______ Within a few days, Rustymight had set off toward Dragonhome. He hadn't known where exactly the clan was, only what Klaeod had told him: Run by a fae named Ciera amongst the cliffs of Greatwyrm's Breach. Leaving the home he had grown up protecting was tough, sure, but Rustymight knew what had to be done. He would not be a disgrace to his family or breed by missing this opportunity. With the red mirror's words and a sharp twinge at the back of his mind, he followed his inuition and made his journey across Sornieth.
