There is a show upon this land. It swallows the light and drowns you in darkness. It seizes the very air you breath and rips out your soul. It is known as the Shade. It is a enemy from long past, now anew and ready for round three for this world.

Ubra has been shade for a very long time, for as long as he can remember. But, seeing as he has no recollection of his former life before the shade he doent quite know his true age. His life with the shade when first taken, was a rather quiet time in his life. His former life had been taken from him, the dragon he once was now dead and the husk filled with the unending shadow of the shade. He had been mindless in his pursuit to fill the needs of the shade. To spread this disease far and wide and as quickly as possible. When he finally began to fight and gain control of himself, Umbra gave himself his name, and set off to find more purpose to his life then spreading his shadowy disease.

While out trying to fulfill his need to spread the shade he had an encounter with the one dragon that would drive both him and the shade within him to madness. A fae at the time of their meeting, Darastrix had stopped him and his attack on a small colony of nocturnes. In their ensuing battle of nature magic and shade magic, a devistating blast shattered Umbras shade form and he had been forced to retreat. Upon meeting with that same dragon again, she was no longer fae and she had received a new body. It appeared that each of their magics were incredibly powerful and the resulting backlash had mixed and recoiled upon the users. The nature magic was greedily swallowed by his shade and had helped him recover faster then normal, but for Darastrix, she had to be given a new body to contain the shade which had threatened to consume her. This infuriated and intrigued Umbra, so he follows. Follows and plots to one day, laugh and watch as all that precious green, turns to black...

Draconis had gone on a journey to find a new mate when he had come across a dragon trading a rather unusual scroll. Thinking it would be something the clan could use for trade later on, Draconis took the scroll and thanked the dragon for the trade. Seeing how Draconis was only a small fae and counld hold very few items all at once he decided that he would take the scroll, and a few other items he had come across, back to his clan. The next night as Draconis slept atop the trees, the scroll glowed and a bright blinding light filled the area.

Draconis fell from the trees as the branches could no longer hold his weight. Draconis let out a shout of surprise and pain as he landed on the ground. Having been so rudely awakened he groaned before blinking awake and searching for what caused his sudden fall. 'What in the worl-' his thought were cut short as he knowticed everything around him seemed smaller then it once was. Moving to stand Draconis finally knowticed his new features. Four grey and white claws, a pink fur covered tail, feathered pink wings, and a large pink swirled pearl lay beside him. Draconis panicked and began pulling at his new features thinking that there was no way he was actually a pearlcatcher now.

'How?...I dont understand? What happened to me?' Thinking over his last few days he quickly remembers the scroll. 'Thats the only explination...' Draconis sighed and sat down on the ground trying to calm himself enough to figure out what to do next. 'should i go find the dragon i got the scroll from or do I just return to the clan like I was to do before?...'

Draconis sighed and decided it was going to be near impossible to find the traveling dragon he had originally gotten the scroll from, 'I guess I should just head back to the clan for now...I wonder what Darastrix's reaction will be when I return...?'
