"Lights will guide you home."
Epiales stands firm in her position as an ambassador for light for good reason - she is actually afraid of the dark. It may have started from her hatchling years, or from her experiences as she aged; she refuses to tell the reason to anyone. In fact, she hasn't told any other dragon in the clan her secret. Instead, she surrounds herself with reflective stones and baubles to capture as much light as possible, and keeps her area of the lair brightly lit. On evenings when she finds herself unable to sleep, Epiales prefers to sneak out in search of fireflies, her favorite type of insect; their ability to illuminate themselves always reminds her of the light that shines within us all.
