Biography

Thallane is one of the more devout members of the Clan. Despite being born a Nature dragon, she prays to the Arcanist daily. Perhaps it's true that converts are stricter than those born to a faith. She and Gladiolus in particular have a disagreement about what it truly means to be Arcane. Gladiolus maintains that curiosity and enthusiasm are the keys, while Thallane thinks that Gladiolus is a stupid Tundra.

She has a rather strained relationship with her daughter, but beneath the tension she loves Pythia dearly and wants the best for her. It's the age-old dilemma.

...Her younger daughter? What younger daughter? Phaethusa is such a disappointment that Thallane usually just pretends she doesn't exist. Ouch!

Lately, Thallane has been petitioning Ninereeds to limit the number of Imperials allowed to reside in the clan. She cites the ever-present danger of Emperors as her reason, although some wonder. Ninereeds understands her concerns, but Jin, Midnight and Octarine don't have to pack their bags just yet.
