Hatchling Caretaker
They found him in a grove of trees, their branches so thick and winding that they blocked out the sun itself. The hatchling was so young his eyes had not yet opened, and his feeble squeaks were drowned out by the gurgling lava rivers around him. Had the patrol, led by Dianrra not found him, he surely would have died.

He always clung to her, the dragon that had saved his life. He was shy, cautious of everyone and everything around him, it took moons before Kenji was willing to leave the nest without being carried on Dianrra's back.

Even full grown, he is painfully shy. He cannot look another dragon in the eye when talking to them, and rarely leaves camp out of fear for what lies beyond. He rarely seeks out company from anyone aside from Dianrra, who now acts as his adoptive mother. Kenji does, however, get along well with hatchlings. When asked, he simply said he liked the innocence and energy of the young dragons, perhaps they remind him of the childhood he could have had.
