Luminescence

Hatched just before his father ran afoul of an arcane tome of transfiguration, Luminescence is jokingly referred to as 'Iridescence Improved'. He was born and raised on Raven Ridge, free from the danger that plagued his parents and clanmates, and has never expressed any desire to leave.

Mellower than his braggart father but more publicly emotive than his restrained mother, Lumi exemplifies the term 'everything in moderation'. He's kind but savvy, intelligent without overwhelming lesser minds, and can always be tempted to take part in a good-natured prank. Though he has no natural knack for magic, his early tutelage under Redsky gave him a firm moral center and an eye for spotting the hurts of other. Young though he is, Lumi's a solid shoulder to cry on and a patient ear to listen for whoever needs it. ...and if he swaps from 'wise beyond his years' to 'gallivanting around leading hordes of hatchlings on adventures' at the drop of a hat, well, that's just part of his charm.

Lumi nursed a crush on the clan's heir apparent, Rune, throughout his young adulthood. Certain that his own asexuality would ruin his chances, he never so much as mentioned it to her. Only after Rune's own lack of desire came to light did he broach the topic. The two have been mates ever since, and recently expanded their relationship to include the newly-arrived, equally-asexual Acenth.
