A strict, yet kind lady, Misieth is a well-respected Spiral, known for her skilled hands, kindness, and motherly instincts. A popular seamstress even outside of the Truthseekers, Misieth always has an abundance of orders she’s swift to fulfill and only delivers the best of the best.

Misieth grew up in the poorer parts of the Southern Icefield, where winter is eternal. Little will grow, so food is scarce, dragons are highly territorial, and clans are very tight-knit. Her mother was the clan’s seamstress, a kind woman who raised many children and had a backbone of steel. The clothes she made were meant to be warm and comfortable and didn’t leave a lot of place for creativity, but her mother never complained. She taught all her children the basics and happily took Misieth under her wing when she showed interest in the craft.

It was with a heavy heart that Misieth left for warmer lands once her mother deemed her fully trained. Misieth couldn’t bear the thought of spending her whole life working with animal skin and wool. She took to the textiles, styles, and techniques outside of the Icefield like a fish to water. She spent a few years in the Windswept Plateau, enamored by the local styles which she is highly inspired by even years, later before moving to Dragonhome, eventually finding a home among the members of the Truthseeker Clan.

Misieth loves making flowing, soft outfits with frills and folds. Many of her clothes are made from soft, airy materials, materials she fell in love with while crossing Wind territory. Such materials were unheard of in her home and called to her. She’s not a great enchanter, but has learned to sow several runes and chant spells that protect her garments from fire. She is living among fire-breathing dragons, after all, and she hates seeing her creations singed or outright burnt to a crisp. Such customers are warned against ever visiting in hopes of commissioning her.

She has her mother’s backbone and a sharp tongue she won’t hesitate to use. Her age hasn’t stolen her beauty or her strength. She holds a grudge like no other and will mercilessly poke annoying or arrogant customers with a needle, her expression never changing from a sharp smile.

She repairs tears in hatchlings’ clothes for free, having raised many children of her own. She knows very well how quickly one goes through clothes to keep up with rowdy hatchlings. She loves children and is an aunt to every hatchling in the clan, often gifting them puppets she’s created from leftover materials, as well as a splendid mother to her own.

She’s a reserved dragon and can be very stubborn in her views. Misieth thinks very highly of her mother and treasures family. Jewel, her apprentice, is like a daughter to her and she loves her dearly, even if she can be very stern and uncompromising when teaching her. Her childhood has made it hard for her to truly think outside the box and has caused multiple arguments with Jewel over outfit designs. In the end Misieth respects her apprentice’s creativity, even though she refuses to believe anyone would wear some of the outfits Jewel’s sketched out and shown her.

Miseth can be very materialistic. She doesn’t let Jewel work with her favorite, often very pricey, fabrics and keeps a close eye on her favorite clothing and jewelry. She enjoys material comforts such as a warm bed, high quality clothing, and fresh food. Her pragmatic views have led to her keeping quite the sum of treasure hidden away for worse times, as well as several gemstones, clothes she’s designed, and textiles if she ever needs to sell something valuable.

Her long-term relationship with Maddex is peculiar, as the two of them are as different as oil and water, yet it works splendidly. Maddex knows to keep his experiments as far away as possible from her sketches and garments and comes home clean from any residue. Misieth is always shoving a meal in front of him and letting him bounce ideas off of her even when much of his scientific jargon flies way over her head.
