Hetca

Once a simple voodoo dragoness, Hetca is one of the smartest of the Shade group. She began to study the Shade itself once it began to peek her interest. She started to get really into it, thus, staying indoors for days, weeks, even months. Her intelligence only grew and she even began crafting many magical items, mostly voodoo related things. She encountered a powerful light spell, which began to change her.

Not only was she interested in the Shade, but she was ironically obsessed with something she simply named "The Light." In fact, she became too obsessed with both subjects. She began to go around her village, chanting and attempting to convince others that The Light is the way of life. Eventually, everyone began to get irritated or afraid of her and how powerful she was secretly becoming. The pearlcatcher was shunned from her own home and village. Too afraid of her beliefs entirely, the other dragons burned down her home. This infuriated Hetca, and she used a very destructive light spell to kill them all.

Wondering into areas where she was unfamiliar with, and starving, she decided to give up and just die where she stood. That's when she heard a voice. It was unknown to her and she could hear it from what seemed like her head...or mind. It told her that if she wants to continue in her beliefs and manipulate others, she would be wise to join the Shade. Hetca, who wanted no more than to make others share her beliefs, agreed almost immediately.

She now wanders around occasionally, broadening her intelligence. Some dragons find her out of coincidence and try to kill her or alert others. However, those who challenged and lost to Hetca began to "see the Light" upon defeat. Slowly but surely, her beliefs were spreading. Those who attempted to track her were unable to since she was able to cancel and erase any trace of her whereabouts. She even supports her Shade companions with her own creations of nearly anything.
