Although sometimes referred to as "Russel" for record-keeping purposes, he doesn't truly
have a name. He's a naturalist—so in tune with nature that he doesn't need one, no matter what the rest of the clan might think. He was raised by trees and only speaks their language, which is rustling. For obvious reasons this makes communication with the rest of the clan difficult, but he gets by.
He was found trapped in the forest just north of the Sundial Terrace, starving to death.
After members of the clan freed him, he started following them around. At this point he's basically a member of the clan, although his devotion to the Gladekeeper is unwavering.
Most of the other dragons have no idea where he came from, or how such a young Earth
dragon ended up in Light territory, alone. Only Alder understands his tree-language, and he has forbidden them from telling anyone except their mate, Gauge. Most assume he left Dragonhome as a hatchling and made his way through Plague and Shadow, but this is incorrect.
