Okay, this name reference is forced.
 Iskandar is by far the most mysterious of the dragons of the Fullbright Clan's lair. Even though he bears the red eyes of the Plaguebringer, he bears nothing else in common with his Plague brethren. He holds no love for the Arcanist, and yet he was not sent to the Star Wood Strand on any "greater mission", either. He simply... arrived one day, and has since made himself at home.

Some of the younger dragons suspect he is a mystical aberration like Valeria, while others have entertained the rumour that he was simply one of Enrith's experiments given sentience. Whatever Iskandar's reasons for coming to the Fullbright Clan, he sees fit to protect it - particularly from the sky, which he seems drawn to.
