Irae

They found him in the ice. It took every ridgeback in clan Brokenwing to dig him out, and thawing his frozen carcass was a lesson in patience, but the dragon that emerged from the ice seemed normal enough, until he started... dripping. A steady stream of royal purple slime oozed from the pure white imperial's skin, coiling and writhing like a thing alive. It moved and behaved like a living thing, always remaining on his body.

No one knew what had been done to him to cause the shadows to ooze out of him in such a horrific fashion, or why he'd been frozen in the ice, but soon they found that the condition was spreading...
