The Record

There was a plague in the clan.
Dragons, strong and healthy, started to feel lethargic. They mentioned feeling like their heads were full of static, a blankness of the mind. Eventually, they started to succumb to it, and froze up; living statues.
All anyone could do is put the victims in the den, and pray to the Earthshaker that they would find a cure.

The rules
1. You can't buy dragons. All you can do is buy eggs or hatch your own, or buy a dragon from the AH after you've leveled three dragons to level 25.
2. You can only buy one egg a month.
3. You can't scatter scroll a dragon until they've reached level 25.
4. You can't give a dragon a primary gene until level 10, can't give them a secondary gene until level 15, and can't give them a tertiary gene until level 20.
5. For every egg you find, whether in the coliseum or by scavenging, you may purchase one breed change for any dragon.
6. You cannot gather food, you must grind for it in the coli.
7. If a dragon faints in the coli, it's dead. Exalt.

7a. IF they are too important to the clan as a whole to lose, the Fragments may decide to preserve them, and they will have to be resurrected.

7b. When a dragon dies (including hatchlings) they may be taken by another clan instead of exalted; They are still considered dead to the Nuzlocke, however.

8. To revive a dragon from the Static, place an Earthshaker Idol (Cloth or stone) in the middle of the Central Circle. Surround it in a circle of 10 Sacridite. Cover with a thick layer of a mixture of sand and gemstones. Light an ancestral incense, and set it on top. Wait for an undetermined amount of time, and the dragon you wish to revive should emerge from under the sand. They will still be weakened at this point, so they must wait 7 days before joining the active fighters.

8a. There is a 7 day time limit on revival; If a dragon is not revived before then, they are lost forever.

9. Nests

a. For every hatchling, flip a coin.
b. If tails, the hatchling died. Exalt.
c. If heads, you have a survivor.

It was a chilly autumn day. Hura felt the sun's light dapple across her face. Waking up, she saw Kora starting to stir as well.

"Sister - Do you know how long it has been?"

"No, dear Hura. However, there's a letter here; Addressed to both of us."

"Hm. It is addressed from "The Fragments." I've never heard of them before. They must be a newer group of dragons in the clan."

"Would you like to read it, or shall I?"

"You can - my eyes are still a bit blurry."

"Pah! Your eyesight has always been bad."

The letter:

The twelfth day of the eleventh month.
To the progeny of Sirius and Aukina - Hora and Kura
The clan has been struck by sickness. Be careful in the heat of battle - fainting and severe wounds leave you exposed to the Static.
The paths to the food-gathering areas and some of the auction-region paths have been destroyed - you are on your own.
Some of the dragons that were also asleep when the clan fell ill have awoken - take care that they do not perish, else all of this will be for naught.

Hura stood up. "Short, but to the point. Shall we go for a bit of adventuring, as our parents have?"
