Biography
Lina
Always the pious one, Lina is the high priestess at the Temple of Light in Valorian City. She leads any type of worship that takes place in their temple, as well as visits the King and his family for private prayers and during times of stress or need despite the King being widely disapproving of the gods. Lina refuses to give up on him, however, and continues to pressure him to accept a religious presence in his council.
The story of how Lina came to Valorian is far less exciting than the tales of the warriors or sentinels. She is not a skilled alchemist or plague-bringer, nor is she adept at magic or political persuasion. Lina heard about The Radiant long before they were the great empire they are now, and saw a clan in need of guidance through religious means. The stories of how they treated other clans, and even each other, brought pain to her heart. So when she was done with her studies in wind territory, she sought them out.
Finding them during their time of upheaval was difficult. Even more difficult was being accepted into Valorian and the clan, especially due to the relatively conservative religious nature of the dragons there. She didn't give up however, and though he may seem unfair and cruel Bahamut is an intelligent leader. Having her in the city was almost as important as the city guard. Dragons of lesser standing would flock to her temple, and drink up her words of encouragement and wisdom. Happy citizens, were controlled citizens.
So Lina got her temple, and the clearance to practice her worship however she saw fit. Though she denies the common theory of Bahamut being the God King, she believes in the holy eleven and continues to spread their good word to the people of Valorian however she can.
