Biography
Squeakling is so dedicated to mimicry that he came out looking exactly like his poppa! (Minus the eyes, of course.)

- TRAVEL LOG -
Lair 1 - Harvestable:
Squeakling was restless. He had finally grown into a handsome young man in his birth territory and didn't know quite what to do with himself. The thought of going off to serve the Windsinger made him queasy, but the alternative of moving out into another lair permanently made his heart pang with loneliness.
On a day that he was particularly down in the dumps, he overheard a conversation that two much older clanmates were having. They were reminiscing about the days when many dragons from their clan would simply pack up and leave to see as much of the world as they could before returning to their homeland. None of them ever ended up coming back apparently, but that was because most of them made beautiful families along the way or found a lair that was an even more perfect fit than home.
It was then that Squeakers realized that was exactly what he wanted to do with his life! He was so excited that he immediately packed up his little hoard of trinkets, said his goodbyes and started wandering off to a brighter tomorrow...
Lair 2 - starfox (#121995):
But a brighter tomorrow isn't what fate seemed to have in mind for Squeakers; as he ended up in the Wispwillow Grove, deep in the Shadow flight's turf.
Squeakers was excited to visit the homeland of his kind, and the small clan he stayed with for a while helped answer his many questions. His bright belly and wings proved a little problematic for hunting in the dark; and covering up with mud all the time wasn't very high on Squeakers' "fun stuff" list. The young Nocturne said his goodbyes and thank yous, and left to see other sights. (with hopefully less mud).
Lair 3 - Whitefoxtails (134150):
Squeakling might have gotten himself in a little to deep, he mused. Frozen Hollow was certainly a far cry from the Wispwillow Grove. The Snowsquall Tundra was cold, and he didn't really fit with this clan. All whites and blues and purples. He was a bit too bright for this crowd!
But he persevered, making friends with two fiery dragons, a mated pair that called themselves "the Fire Nation." Must be an inside joke, he thought to himself. But he decided to try and weather it out, see if he could learn to adapt to ice-fishing, curling up tightly with everyone else for warmth at night, and learning to predict snowstorms.
Unfortunately, hunting in the tundra required a bit more camouflage than Squeakling possessed. Snow is a bit colder than mud, after all. Suddenly Squeakling regretted his decision to stay here...
Lair 4 - vervain (32201)
Finding his way into the Shadow Flight's territory once again, Squeakling couldn't help but be nervous about the prospect of mud and more mud covering up his bright wings and belly. Surprisingly, he found himself venturing into the territory of a rather sprawling clan, full of all sorts of brightly colored dragons from all over the map. In this hodge podge family, Squeakling found himself surrounded by dragons eager to hear about his travels and share stories of their own.
While the other dragons actually gave him all sorts of helpful advice about where he might like to travel next, Squeakling actually decided to stay for a while when he met a similarly colored nocturne named Spalding. She was also a new arrival to the clan, and the two of them hit it off right away. As his stay extended longer and longer, Squeakling became the proud father of several nests of little nocturnes. Eventually, however, his wandering spirit took hold once more and he decided it was time to say goodbye to the clan, venturing on to new lands.
Lair 5 - eviolite (84893)
His second visit to the Southern Icefields was not nearly as charming as he originally thought it might be. The town he came to stay at, deep in a forested part of the Snowsquall Tundra, was... in a word; eerie. The villagers of Bellice were on edge the moment he arrived, though Hymn had a sinking feeling that their anxiousness was normal for these civilians. Dragons told him in hushed tones about the horrible Wendigos that lurked in the woods, and worse still of a tyrannical group spoken only of as 'The Hive.'
Notably the village leader was the most steadfast of these civilians, and calmly answered all of his questions in relation to the Wendigos; the poor boy had never heard of such awful beasts! However when it came to the group known as 'The Hive...' The Tundra only snorted and violently shook his head. It was one topic he dared not to touch. Everyone urged her not to stay. The villagers even went so far as to offer to help the guardian prepare; so long as he left and put this wretched place far from her memory.

Lair 6 - Hasuna (226585)
next Squeakling stopped at a shadow lair. the dragons here welcomed Speakling. there wasn't much space when he arrived, so he was surprised by their welcome. but soon after he arrived, they busied themselves clearing space and expanding their lair. Squeakling enjoyed his stay in the shadow lair, but the busy dragons almost seemed to go about their business as if he wasn't even there, and he decided maybe it was time to move on once again...
Lair 7 - whoiseliza (104297)
Spending time at the Bastion, amongst the dragons of the Vigilight Clan, Squeakling learnt much of the world. He spent his time in the great hall, listening to the tales of the many bards and other travellers that stopped by the fortress-lair. After a time, Squeakling began to share his own stories, telling the others of the lairs he had visited and the dragons he'd met. It was a peaceful time, allowing the nocturne the chance to recuperate from the rigours of the road. But when the Vigilight Sabers set out on another expedition, the travelling dragon felt the urge for a new horizon once again.
