Raja was born in the Mirrorlight Promenade to proud parents Tora and Bengal. When he was old enough he went on a journey from the Sunbeam Ruins through the Tangled Wood and Scarred Wastelands and found his way to the Star Wood Strand in the Starfall Isles, ruled by the Arcanist.

Upon his arrival Phantomheart spotted him and went to investigate. After hearing the path that the Imperial had taken to get there Phantomheart brought the new comer to the clan leader. Nightscratch agreed that the, as she called him, "prince" could stay. From that moment on he was known as Prince Raja and was welcomed as part of the clan.
