Usurped by Pestis the white dragon of plague, Pilia lives alongside her bonded mate within the higher ranks of the Skydancer district of the clan. She is a calm mediator and the wisest of the Saprophyte Skydancers, a beloved queen before her fall. It is believed by some that Pilia knew Pestis would betray her and her family when the usurper was still a hatchling, but still raised the child in love and tender care despite this.
