Vereb

Vereb; the Hungarian word for sparrow. Compared to the two Imperial dragons in the roost, he is a small rambunctious chirping ball of energy. Unwanted by his family due to his dull colouration, he was picked up by Banlu on her travels. He is clearly not from around this area, nor has Banlu seen the like of him in her youth. As a result, his name breaks the pattern she had established-- a way to move forward, perhaps.

Furthermore, despite being raised since youth by the Fae martriarch, Vereb is poor at communicating with her. He relies on the words of his elder sister, Ming Hua, to understand the world around him. This may cause tension, soon. Of the Light Flight, he is very much capable of a bitter rivalry with Huo Er... But, to Viktor's relief, he is more willing to cooperate with the expressive Shadow Dragon, even if they've never shared any conversation.

He has a familiar, Vihar, that was given to him as a coming-of-age gift by Ban Lu. They frequently wander off together. Of late, he has also taken to Izmaglica, and regularly brings his younger sister along on his travels.
