Biography
Smokie is the son of unquestioned battle king and queen of the lair, Sanya and Devara. His parents are phenomenal warriors who found their way to each others company as a result of shared time spent killing everything in sight. As is often the case with battlefield romances, they did not really think the relationship through very far and had their first nest together before they realized what the potential repercussions would be. Sadly, as creative as they were on the battlefield, they were not very creative in naming offspring. Smokie's name, is therefore based merely on the smoke pattern he was born with.
Smokie was welcomed to the clan with much fanfare and grew up wanting for nothing. Some of the more jealous clan members would call him "The Little Prince" behind his back. These malcontents were, of course, rapped soundly on the head if the clan leadership heard them say it. His parents, meanwhile, kept up their battling and would often challenge each other to competitions to see how many podids they could send flying across the Mire.
He took to combat as naturally as others took to flying. It was a simple exercise in smacking the right heads at the right time as hard as he possibly could. There was just something gratifying in the sound of his claws ripping through the hardened outer shell of an insectoid enemy. Though, it certainly did not compare to the hot rush of blood that accompanied each deep wound he dealt. It might be true that he enjoyed combat just a bit too much, but few dared to broach the subject.
Smokie noticed that "The Twins," Fuchsite and Maripolite, were not enjoying themselves in the clan to the degree that he did. It was perplexing to him, because he only felt down when he had been gone too long from the field of combat. Killing a few dozen podids in the Mire was the best fix for that problem and there was always a group headed that way who would agree to let him tag along. Naturally, Smokie assumed that this was exactly what "The Twins" needed and posed the idea.
After what Smokie felt was all too much conversation on the subject, they agreed to start at the very beginning of the battle world. So they headed out for an extended tour of the world together and left a swath of death and destruction that made even Smokie smirk.
Smokie is currently seeking a new set of companions to go on adventures with. As much as he enjoyed traveling with Fuchsite and Maripolite, they just didn't have the stomach to keep up with him for the long term.
