Most Snappers are creatures that never leave the Shattered Plains and they almost never leave their roving clans. However, Gladiator was always a bit different. He never felt as drawn to his fellow Snappers and he was more comfortable spending time with dragon breeds. This isolationist behavior soon led him to leaving his birth clan and he wandered as a loner, going from one clan to another.

Soon he left behind each of those clans and upon coming to the Sea of a Thousand Currents, he found a small clan that welcomed him without question and despite the fact that it had a mix of several different kinds of dragons, he felt at ease and knew that he had finally found his home.

Being much older than any of the other occupants, the Matriarch and Patriarch looked up to the old Snapper for his wisdom. He was a walking encyclopedia, after all. He was never afraid to share his knowledge and while sometimes he drives some of the other clan members mad, the hatchlings never get tired of his stories.

As the Elder of the clan, he is one of the three advisors, along with the Spirit Healer Yue and the Shaman Hyun.

Along with his status as the Elder, he is also the leader of the Coliseum team.
