"So what you are saying is that the First Fate, the grandest of all, the seer of eons, the shooting star, is going to appear here and i'm supposed to magically recognize this dragon?" Lyeto asked as he paced back and forth in front of the garden of light, a magical garden built for the Lightweaver and revered as a most holy place in which only the chosen are allowed to enter. "How?"
"She will tell you," the Lightweaver answered. "In her own way."
"Why can't you tell me?" Lyeto asked, pausing in his pacing.
"Because she asked that it be a surprise," the Lightweaver seemed to be smiling. "And who am I to ruin her fun?"
"But you're the Lightweaver, you can control-"
"Allow me to stop you there," the Lightweaver cut in. "The First Fate is an entity her own and decides where and when she will lend her powers. I have as much control over what she does as you have control over what Regina says."
Lyeto paused for a second remembering Regina let out a long sting of very colorful descriptors when she found she was being cheated out of a deal from a neighboring clan.
"Oh."
"Yes indeed."
"Well, I will just go and make sure the clan is ready then."
"My light goes with you."

As Lyeto trudged through the ice and snow, wearing naught but what was left of his silk clothes he wore before the battle of the sanctuary, he heard a voice. Not the same soft lilt of the Lightweaver that he knew well, but a cold and harsh voice.
"Keep your head down, the Second and Third Fates are coming to you."
"W-What?" Lyeto asked, half dazed from the blinding white snow and the ice that clung to his fur.
Regina who walked next to him looked over and saw that his eyes had glazed over. She looked over her shoulder to make sure none would see before she leaned in close.
"The Lightweaver?" She asked in a rough whisper.
Lyeto shook his head, and one eye regained it's golden hue.
"Stay Strong," The voice told Lyeto before dying in the icy wind.
"I-Icewarden?" Lyeto asked before collapsing in the snow, his vision going completely white.
