Amelia and her mate Hound are traders. Together they run a small trading post in the Highland Scrub from which they ply their wares. They also run a small inn there for weary desert travellers - it's little more than a yurt, but it provides warmth through the cold nights and a refuge from the blazing sun. Amelia ensures that food and water are always available, priding herself on its freshness. She always has a bowl of magpie stew ready as it's her mate's favourite meal.
Since Hound is usually out all day on trading missions, the maintenance of the outpost often falls to Amelia. She keeps the place clean and tidy as best she can (sand is the mortal enemy of cleanliness) and provides regular maintenance on the generators that power the outpost.
Amelia, being an Arcane dragon bent on studying all that she can, has learned to speak most of the draconic languages alongside her native Coatl. She can even speak Fae to a certain extent, using her wings and feathers as mock frills in order to express emotion.
