Raised by his sweet mother, a cookie from the Shadow Bakery, he never quite fit in with the sweet temptations that were produced there. Attracted to the solitary feeling that the darkness gave him, he decided to hide in the shadows by day, and only exploring the world under the umbrella of night.

As he grew older, his desire to explore the world intensified. He did not want to meet anyone, but rather explore the dim beauty of the world. The darkness was his only companion.
