Hazel is a spirit of a forest that's perpetually in autumn. She's the one that causes the strange phenomenon, though for what purpose no one knows. She cares deeply for the forest and will chase out anyone that doesn't treat it or her with absolute respect. She's wild, living off the land and harmonizing with nature. Some would call her uncivilized and she'd probably agree with them, saying she doesn't want to be civilized. She's untamable, resistant to any kind of change. Many people have tried to tame her, to control her magic for their own ends. It never ends well for them. The only people who have come close to taming her would be her mates, Kaleen and Eleri. But even they cannot tame nature.

But she is a warm-hearted and kindred spirit. Make no mistake, the Mother of Flame is no hothead. Well, unless you call her 'Mother of Flame', then those cheeks could start a fire. They actually have. When she was officially titled the Mother of Flame. Those poor curtains. They were so nice too...
She tends to be a bit loud, and has a set of loose lips, but she never lets anything slip on purpose, it just kind of comes out. Hazel has no bad intentions, and always feels extremely guilty whenever a secret pops out of her mouth. Sometimes even right in front of whomever told her in the first place. Her cheeks always turn bright red just after the 'secret' words leave her mouth, and her attempts to cover the usually light something ablaze. Her friends always assure her that it isn't her fault, but she can't help but feel bad.
