 B I O G R A P H Y
Marcus is more of a Watcher. He scouts ahead and lies traps for unsuspecting victims. He is not the type to get up close and kill-the further away from you he is, the better. Gwen is the one that will get close, and when she's close, it's a bit to late. Marcus and Gwen were the only surviving subjects from the Trials, and they remember nothing but mere moments of blinding pain and misery and glimpses of what had been around them. But they don't remember The Scientist, they just know he created them. Ever since escaping, the pair have been inseparable. They found their home in Kayori's Clan, with the clan leader having the knowledge that the two would not rest until they brought their Creator down.

That doesn't mean the nightmares don't exist or that the pains of the experiments don't crop up from time to time. When they do, he's crippled for days, or sometimes weeks. He settles into a zone, where he barely eats, sleeps or drinks. The clan had to adjust to this, especially if Gwen and Marcus both went through a spell at the same time. As difficult as it was, with passing time the pair go longer and longer without their spells. And that gives them more time to find The Scientist and pay back what was done.
