It wasn't long after hatching that Mandis watched her parents die before her. She knows nothing of the clan she is from, only remembering that a battle with creatures of fangs and fur has left her homeless and flightless. She knows nothing of what her original name was to be, nor does she know what her siblings may have looked like. All she knows is the reeds and blood made convenient camouflage, and the fighting itself ended as quickly as it began. She has lived many years as a nomad, traveling in hopes of finding her place in this world. She met Rannis along her travels, the two swiftly becoming close friends; the startings of the Mystique clan.
