Story
The fae looks at you with inquisitive eyes. She's still but there's a sense of her waiting to leap into action. When she speaks, it's the monotone of a
fae, but her frills are perked up. Slowly, you listen to her story
Stormgazer was born into the Sandswept Delta, an odd place for a colony of faes.
Nonetheless, her clan exchanged the usual sap and wood for a cave system.
From the beginning, Stormgazer followed her parent's path and had a great love
for invention and tinkering. She turned away from magic, and approached something
more tangible, taking comfort in her own prototypes and toys.
They proved inadequate, though, in preventing the storm. A massive
dust storm ravaged the clans home, leaving few survivors. Stormgazer was
among them, but she was left orphaned. As a refugee, she grew jaded
and reclusive. She began manipulating dragons for her own gain, attempting to become a
leader of the remaining dragons. Ultimately, she was unsuccessful
and in a fervent rage, she left her home. She vowed to take back what's her's and not be forgotten and blown away like the storm that had struck her colony.
She set up a home near the Lightning Farm, making quick work of nearby
wires and setting up a generator. She began taking in dragons that
were less than honorable. At first, it was simply for her own gain but, despite
what she insisted, she grew to care for them. Slowly, Stormgazer grew stable
as a leader and named her clan the Avium Butterfly, a place of change and new
beginnings.
Recently, though, a disorder is brewing within the Avium Butterfly. When a famine struck the clan, it broke into two factions. Seashell, a thief turned ally, is leading the Novus Avium, a faction that thinks the clan should focus more on magic and battle rather than technology and the pursuit of innovation.

trusting in others, she still comes off at cold at first glance. She's
very analytical and isn't sentimental when it comes to innovation and improvement.
She's dismissive of dragons she thinks are incompetent
and won't be of some use in her clan. Speaking of her clan, while Stormgazer
can be perceived as uncaring she does care for the dragons under her lead
greatly and will do almost anything for them. Stormgazer isn't all
cold analysis and logic, though, she has a curiosity that she maintained
from childhood. If you manage to get into her inner circle Stormgazer
is kind and may just open up to you. She as a soft spot to dragons who have
been hurt and won't hesitate to take in refugees or orphans.

Though Stormgazer may not always show it, she cares for her clan deeply. As far as personal relationships go, she's close to Viper, whose walls she's managed to break down, and her automaton assistant, Shock. She's at odds with Seashell, the leader of the Novus Avium faction.
