Faella

Faella was born a traveller.
Her parents had no elemental allegiance, no commitment to a deity of any kind.
They weren't the sort to worship the Shade, either.
So she was born on the path, with no elemental allegiance either, her eyes as empty and as hollow as the tree trunks that the fae used to shape their homes.
But living without the protection of a deity is very, very dangerous.
So much so that by the time Faella turned a year old, her parents were killed.
And by a Beastclan, no less.
The tiny fae had watched, helpless and unable to fight off the beastclan.
Her parents had pleaded at her to flee, before the three were killed.
And flee she did.
Terrified and filled with grief at her parent's passing, Faella wandered the entirety of Sorineth, from the stinking wasteland that was the Abiding Boneyard, to the freezing tundra of the Southern Icefields.
Until she met Rafaello.
He had been quite kind to her, accompanying her on her journey.
Like Faella, he was trying to find a home for himself too.
Weeks later, the pair arrived at the Starfall Isles.
It was perfect.
The towering crystals and gems glowed softly with mana, and even the ground itself pulsed gently with untapped magic.
And Faella's eyes began to take on colour.
They had turned bright pink, the colour of the Arcane dragons .
And so they settled down and made a home for themselves, taking in dragons who didn't have a home either.
Faella thought that she would never experience sorrow again, until Rafaello left her, that is.
He had run away with another dragon, Stream, leaving Faella for a dragon who was much younger than she was.
It had left her heartbroken.
But she wasn't that sobbing, mourning fae that she once was.
Faella was more than capable of taking care of the clan by herself.
She did not have a mate.
She did not need one.
