Progenitor | Beastclan Ambassador | Familiar Caretaker

The Codebreaker Clan's local beastclan ambassador and a friend to all of the clan's familiars, Stella also has some authority in the clan for being the clan's only remaining progenitor. Any familiars that find their way to the clan but don't have a dragon to pair with are taken in by Stella for bonding and placed in a special greenhouse-like room that takes up the entire roof of the mesa the clan calls home.

Stella helped design this room for the comfort of the familiars, which is a glass dome to allow sunlight in and keep the elements of the Shifting Expanse out. There are a few fans at the top to vent out heat and circulate air. Ponds, trees, and patches of grass are scattered around to accommodate the familiars that lie within. When not greeting visitors, Stella can often be found next to one of these ponds observing the unpaired familiars interacting with each other.

When inquired about her favorite familiar, Stella gives a big smile. "That's an easy one! That would be my Bluefin Charger, Echo. He's got the hearing of a Nocturne when he's hunting for food like he's got sonar or echolocation or something, which is how he got the name."

On the note of names, you ask if she had any input in the clan's name.

"I had a few ideas involving topics like engineers, static, and thunder. I talked them out with a few of the clan's other alphas like Morris, Glitch, and Vilinara and we narrowed down our choices to a few good ones. We put those in a little basket and the winner ended up being one of Morris' ideas of being Codebreakers.

"It's pretty fitting, actually, since he and his family helped form the basis of our codebreaking unit. Some of the local rogue dragon clans like the one clan that Relic met during her charge search send secret messages back and forth that aren't always in typical draconic. If we happen to come in contact with one of these messages, someone around here has to be able to decode it. That's where Morris and his folks come in."
