Becoming the General:
The clan's progenitor, Faris, raised Philo and Mantle together as brothers. When she entrusted Mantle with leading the clan, his first course of action was to appoint Philo as General to defend the young clan. Philo had, after all, beaten Mantle in every fight growing up, and despite Philo's unpolished way of speaking, Mantle saw his brother's potential to be an intelligent strategist and a great leader. His faith paid off, and Philo now oversees every part of the growing military, even though it's now a much more sophisticated operation than the small band of fighters that it started as.

Personality and Interests:
Despite his lofty position, Philo is... rarely invited to royal dinner parties. Aside from his monstrous appetite and tendency to lose count of his drinks, he has never gotten along with the upper crust. He has an infamously colorful vocabulary and is definitely not one to keep his opinions hidden. Instead, he likes to spend his time with his soldiers and friends, to whom he is fiercely loyal.

When he's not on duty, he still works hard; often training his skills for hours on end, pushing himself to the limits. He rewards himself mightily though, partaking in every feast and festival within flying distance. Philo loves to party, and looks forward to the elemental holidays more than anyone else in the kingdom.
