Soft-spoken and wise, he supervises the magic-users of the clan. While the mages are the ones who go to him for instruction, everyone goes to him for any advice and wisdom he would be willing to impart.
The newcomers of the clan would say that he is aloof and impassive, but those who've stayed longer would say he is impartial and level-headed; very important traits to have in the Head Mage. However, it is agreed that his neutrality makes him undependable when it comes to what the clan as a whole wants. It is not necessarily bad, since in times of passion, one might forget their values unless they have a neutral party to show the error of their ways.
For the mages he supervises, he often tries to impart the importance of a magic-user in control of their passion. He agrees that passion brings about some of the greatest magical discoveries, but keeping it unchecked can lead to disastrous consequences. He believes that one of the most important ways to achieve control is to acknowledge and accept when one has been wronged, and deny the urge to react. Instead, to not let it take root.
