Coatls are known for being agreeable, and Archimedes is no exception. A jester, a rogue -- in many ways he serves as the unofficial ambassador of the clan at The Crossroads. He is one of the quickest to greet newcomers, though perhaps those that arrive on the gloomy paths will only take him for a fellow traveler. He often appears as a minstrel, resting at the side of the road and obliging strangers with his entertaining tricks.

And yet he is one of the longest-residing members of the Crossroads, if no where near the eldest. It is his home, and he is as entwined as the twisting brambles in which many of his fellows have carved out their dens. His parents have moved on but he has remained, entertaining the founder Rillduen and others with his card tricks and juggling finesse.

It is easy to discount him as a fool, and certainly Archimedes does not take himself seriously. But he is a wily one and it would be a mistake to underestimate him.
