Cadaver
Ex-Warrior |
Items here.
Humble, Dutiful, Devoted
Lesbian Demigirl
She is the silent sentinel standing by Hecate's side, the walking dead that stares at you with a disturbing, piercing gaze, body swathed in bandages, her head cloaked, yet held high.
Cadaver remembers utter darkness. She floated in nothingness for hours, minutes, days, years, she couldn’t escape it. Then there was a pull and light. Awareness came to her slowly, eyelids as heavy as lead. The first thing she saw was beautiful Hecate, the one who called her back to the land of the living. Her past is spotty and many chunks of her memories are missing, but she is able to recall blood, pain and suffering. She was a warrior- standing in front of her enemies, head held high, posture arrogant. That arrogance was her downfall. Cadaver, the mighty Wildclaw, fell to a cowardly Pearlcatcher who sliced open her jugular. But nothing comes without a price. Cadaver’s body didn’t completely revert to its healthy state due to it being Hecate’s first full-fledged ritual. The rot still clings to her, spreading the stench of death and decay. Her body is often sluggish and unresponsive. She cannot speak because her throat hadn’t healed and has stayed heavily scarred, a reminder of her mistakes. She doesn’t hold Hecate’s inexperience against her. She had been granted her another chance, to learn from her past mistakes and to live a life different from the Wildclaw-like life of fighting. Most are afraid of her and avoid being in her presence. Cadaver is a representation of her home Flight, Plague, of sickness, death and decay. They stare at her blood-soaked bandages fearing the diseases they might catch. Cadaver doesn’t care. She never cared about other’s opinions, even before her rebirth. Cadaver mostly shadows Hecate wherever she goes. She is a highly curious creature and loves watching Hecate work her magic. Sometimes Hecate lets her control the resurrected corpses through the ritual-forged connection and she entertains Hecate by stomping around with a pack of undead at her heels, freaking everyone out. Cadaver wishes to repay Hecate for her gift and does her best to help out with the menial tasks. She retained most of her muscle mass or honed instincts and is still a great fighter, even though her speed has decreased and her body doesn’t always listen. She’s learned to be sly and less straight-forward, attacking weaknesses and blind spots. When she needs to truly express herself to someone other than Hecate she asks Dreizehn to help, the kind Coatl always willing to lend a hand to a clanmate. Cadaver dislikes the dragon she used to be and speaking of her past. She has learned from her mistakes and is much more down-to-earth and humble. She is careful, unwilling to leave Hecate alone in the world. Cadaver needs Hecate just as much as the Necromancer needs her. Their love is different, perhaps, but honest and strong. |
