Lyra

Role
As Lady in Waiting Lyra serves directly under Koschei, fulfilling his needs, whatever they may be. It's a rather thankless job, which can make Lyra a bit snappish on some days, but you'll never hear her complain about it. She performs her duties quickly and efficiently, whether they be letter writing, tailoring, or fetching objects for a lazy boss, and always solves any of the boss's crises as rapidly as they come up. All in all, her responsible, careful nature has made her an almost perfect maid for the inactive leader.
Personality
Lyra has always been the responsible one. Reining in her siblings as a hatchling, calming her sister on their first nights in their new clan, and now occasionally giving advice to the leader himself. Lyra rarely lets herself rely on anyone, as she feels it would compromise her role as the "responsible one". Stalwart and steady, it can take a long time before bad conditions affect her. Lyra is also a gifted seamstress, she makes most of the clothes worn by her clanmates out of what little material she can find. On breezy afternoons she can often be found sewing a fresh new garment, poking delicate needlework into handmade cloth, or knitting a cozy hat for cold desert nights. When not making clothes or serving under her leader, Lyra often reads books of a most steamy nature, which have inspired her dreams of one day being swept off her feet by a handsome, gentle prince.
History
Traded with a neighboring clan as treaty. Koschei was in need of a personal assistant, so it was decided that Lyra and her sister, Arya, would be just that. Lyra has always been just a touch resentful of her sister, who weaseled out of her job as a glorified maid and in turn doubled her own workload. This always causes tension between the two whenever they find themselves face to face.
Relationships
Arya's slightly younger sister. Although the two do not share a close relationship, they do occasionally find the time to catch up over an uncomfortable cup of tea, for family's sake. She serves Koschei without publically voicing any complaints, though her true feelings towards him may be deeper than they appear. Lyra tends to keep to herself, and as such she is not particularly close to anyone other than her surface relationships with her boss and sister. However she will not refuse any of her clanmates a smile and an amiable "hello" in passing during her daily duties around camp.
