Malory

Malory Archer is an impossible dragon to please. She appoints herself to serve as an authority figure in whatever situation crops up, ignoring (and frequently getting on the wrong side of) any pre-existing leaders. Accustomed to a certain lifestyle, she responds poorly to any change in environment— unless, of course, it is one initiated by her. Malory looks harshly on those who fail to meet her expectations, and responds to most situations with brutal honesty. Her scowl is, for all intents and purposes, permanent… except in cases when a grin might get her the attention of the opposite sex. Malory’s vanity is unnoticed only by those with an equally formidable ego. For the most part, she remains loyal to those who prove their affection, and (though she denies it) goes to small lengths to ensure the moderate comfort of her perceived inferiors.
There is a weakness in Malory that rarely emerges. Malory is, to beyond a fault, attached to those close to her. While quick to use her loved ones as scapegoats and even quicker to criticize them, in their absence she will dissolve into a blubbering heap of tears and remorse. Of course, this is quickly denied upon their return, but those who witness it remain aware of this highly-guarded tenderness. 
Like many dragons, Malory fell victim to the ravages of blackberry dependence. While she doesn’t see this is an addiction— in fact, she rather enjoys it— most others keep constantly aware that the blackberry stores are plentiful.
Though her center of espionage is formally recognized by the clan leaders, Malory and her business are mostly left to their own devices. Very few of their missions work towards the clan goals, and many in fact compromise their values. While Malory herself is highly influential and has a solid reputation, her agents are known for their fallibility and frequent screw-ups. Malory herself remains off the field, but organizes most of the agency’s missions.
