Dusty

Position
Dusty is a long time friend of Jinx. He has perched on her antlers since their birth. He is her main adviser. He is Jinx's most trusted member. When the pair began resurrecting the clan, Dusty took up the mantle of scribe. He has since grown old and weary, and passed the job onto Jamie.

Mate
There was a time when Jinx and Dusty were lovers, however that all ended when they bore their first nest. Five eggs, three were dead and never hatched, the other two were on the brink of death. They were even too weak to complete the Shadow's Trial. They were offered up to the Shadow binder in hopes of her sparing mercy upon them. Although it was normal to loose dragon's in the shadow's trial, it is especially saddening when they die at birth. After watching Jinx cry night after night, murmur their names, and just observing her depression, Dusty decided he would never take another mate. He would never father children. He would never cause another mother that pain. He is considered to be mated to the clan due to this.
