The Creeping Jasmine... Vines intertwined in darkness

Jewel is an older dragon who likes money. A lot. Some dragons call her a guardian, whose charge is the coins she sleeps on. Current guardian of the clan coffers, she is a greedy dragon, and has a problem parting with her shinies. Her current mate is as shiny as her coins, and as such she has claimed him. He doesn't mind, as long as she leaves him to his study.
All money belongs to her, even the stuff that doesn't. At least she's stopped gathering it illegally... or so she's lead the other dragons to believe. As such Lira now makes most transactions as a trade. Jewel slinks around nowadays, with her back to the walls. She does not trust anyone.

Her assistant is the tricky nocturne Senwith. Creepy as he is, he can make a sale. She, however, hates mirrors and ridge backs, due to a debt oweance gone wrong, and will continue to avoid them.

Story:
Jewel is a slippery thief. Coming into this clan with amassed wealth and pride, Jewel had high hopes bestowed upon her. She was the clan head's favourite for a while, pampered and spoiled. But when the clan head quit, Jewel was left with no role model, and turned to a most lucrative crime.

She took over temporarily, and left the others to look after the clan, whilst she worked to amass money from many sources. Quickly growing rich, she became greedy, and started becoming sloppy in her thievery. It didn't take long until she was caught stealing from the lairs of other clans and brought to justice. Modremoth, the Clan Leader, banished her to the stony lands, where she traveled with the nomadic Snappers, before returning and asking for forgiveness.

Her methods changed, she now resides as clan accountant, where she controls the clan's gold supply, under the always watchful eye of Retina.

Jewel found a mate in a gilded stony imperial who came to the clan. Whilst a bit eccentric, he certainly is attractive.. and shiny. Jewel wants him.

She's sick of this clan now. It's been months since she arrived here, and she tried her best, but the stupid clan stayed poor and destitute. No longer was she to be gilded in shameful trinkets, but the finest silks a queen could buy! For she was no less than a queen, despite how her stupid peers saw her. They all refused to forget her minor mistakes in gathering money too, but still couldn't help themselves spend her precious gold.
She was done with this stupid peasant life. She was destined for far greater things.

Jewel is trying to settle into her new clan. They have a similar atmosphere as before, but something is being concealed from her.

She finally found out what was being hidden. She didn't think they actually existed. They were supposed to be a myth, that is until they recruited her for her particular set of skills. The Creeping Jasmine are the dragons of legends and nightmares. They knew of her past before she even arrived. The other two took her on a intelligence mission to see if she was ready to get back in the game as the final leader to complete the trio and bring the Jasmine's full strength to bear.

It had been so long since she had donned her favorite black cloak. It's familiar weight and scent settled around her as she prepared for the night. She thought back to when she got the cape...Who had given it to her. It had been so long, and yet it felt like only yesterday.
Z we need to work together again soon. She didn't know where she would have ended up without Zirconium

They left the nest as soon as they were old enough. Each went their separate ways. Jewel had never realized how terrifying the world could be when you were just starting out. She had nothing to her name and found herself lost. Finally she ran into a traveling theater troop. The troop was run by a huge ridgeback, Lawrence, who saw her beauty as a chance to improve his luck. They took her in and told her they would take care of her. He introduced her to their newest prodigy, Zirconium. Z was stunning. She glittered with a grace and shimmering beauty that was unrivaled. Lawrence told Jewel her only chance of staying safe with the troop was if she and Z could attract audiences with their performances. Zirconium was distant and a bit shy. From what Jewel discovered, Zirconium had been picked up by the troop when they went through her birth clan performing. She hadn't been with them very long and missed her siblings. Before long they became fast friends and were beginning to build a reputation for their exceptional performance. They both began to feel like they belonged there... that is until Lawrence kept getting greedier and meaner. He started off paying them a small portion from their shows and it was better than nothing. Although pretty soon he started giving them less and less until finally He claimed they owed him for saving them from the streets and they should be happy they were alive. Jewel could not take this arrogant, twisted snoot dragon any longer. She and Zirconium started taking what was rightfully theirs until they had amassed a nice little stockpile of loot. Zirconium was the better dancer and Jewel the better thief. They would perform just like Lawrence wanted them to, while simultaneously robbing him and his unsavory friends blind. Eventually they got enough to get away from the troop, but by then Zirconium was so well known for her talent that she and Jewel ended up traveling around Sornieth performing. Jewel liked having Zirconium stick to the spot light. Z dazzled anyone that came to watch her, which made them the perfect marks. They soon realized that while Z was the perfect distraction, Jewel was not inconspicuous. Late one night Z presented Jewel with a cloak as dark as night to aid her in her endeavors...
They have both moved on from those early days but they are still best friends. Whenever Jewel finds an item that would accentuate Z's beauty she sends it along to her... so far she is the one exception to Jewel's tight grip on treasure.
