Arvena always knew she wasn't the same as the other hatchlings. Nothing in her said 'water'. She wasn't drawn to the sea. But she does love her clan, and her parents always told her that life is what you make of it. So she started experimenting. Changing her look, trying out different ways of presenting herself.

Now she's the clan stylist. She advises others on their look, letting their personality show in their expressions. She work hard to make everyone what want to be, and tries to help everynne see that it all about being yourself. Maybe someday, she thinks, she'll move on. She'd like to find love. Her liaison with Impkith was nice, he treated her well, and she loves their hatchlings. But it wasn't love.

For now, though, she'll better herself and her clan.
