"I've heard tales of the Winds all my life, but I wonder what it would be like to go and see those cliffs for myself."

Born before Rhosyn's first rebellion, Gawain and his brother Galahad were her first children. With his brother gone to join another clan, Gawain lives somewhat on the edge of his family's loft. He carries messages for Rhosyn, both within the clan and abroad, but when he's not needed he prefers to spend his time exploring the main clan's range and finding new routes into other lands. He wonders sometimes about leaving the Clan entirely, but despite his restlessness he can't imagine life anywhere else. When he can escape his mother's watchful eye for a while, he likes to trade news with the main body of the clan and meet the new hatchlings there.
