Boulder is a quiet one. He rarely speaks because his deep, rumbling voice never fails to upset the clan hatchlings. It is an even rarer occurrence for him to laugh; the very ground beneath his feet quakes when he does. He's a nice fellow though, and is well loved by the rest of his clanmates.

Boulder is like a walking mountain, and as such, he is not the fastest mover. But what he lacks in speed, he makes up for in strength. Due to this, and the fact that his silence can be intimidating to strangers, Boulder became a member of the Clan Guard. He, along with his fellow guards, make sure no dangerous dragons or creatures pose a threat to Clan Roots' territory.

He is extremely close with the Captain of the Guard, Elv, though an official relationship between the two has not yet been announced.
